Mom, as I told you many times, you made the BEST fried chicken I've ever eaten! And thank you so much for teaching Gail how to be such a wonderful southern cook! When my Mom passed away in 1999, it made me feel so good when you told me you would be my adopted Mom! I will always cherish the times I was able to spend with you in Winter Haven and also when you visited us in Tallahassee when we lived there. I love you and will always remember you and miss you so much.

Hi Mom, I am so glad that Teresa and I were there to visit with you and Gary the day you left us. We all had a great visit and were able to spend some quality time together. I know you felt our presence and heard our voices and felt our touches as your eyes fluttered at times. I miss our phone calls and conversations, I do realize you are in a much better place now and are not in the pain you were having so often. Please rest in peace and tell Daddy hello, by now you have found him and you are both catching up on everything. Thank you for all you taught me early in life as it as helped me through my life. Uldine was my mother
I thought I knew how much I loved and respected her, but after spending the last eighteen + years caring for her through my fathers
illness and other health issues, she showed me how to handle life's challenges. Every time she had another medical set back, she
would say we can handle this, and we did. She was a strong and tough lady. She worried more about me and others than herself.
I'm so happy I was able to be with her until the end. She will be missed, I love her so much.

When God called you home my heart broke in two. I miss you in ways words cannot convey, but the memories that you have left me with will be a constant reminder of the love & bond we shared. I will miss your smile, your hugs & your amazing sense of humor, but mostly I will miss how you always made everything feel better. Though I can no longer hear your voice, my heart will have conversations with you every day. I’m so thankful for all that you taught me about life, but you forgot to teach me how I’m supposed to live without you.

You were my mother, "mom" and my best friend. I will miss you in so many, many ways especially our daily telephone calls and your laughter after I told you a joke. You, and Daddy both, taught me so many, many things about life and how to be strong during the difficult times. I will always treasure you. Rest easy, Mom.
